I recently bought this movie at Target, since it was one on my list of classic movies that I need to watch, and since it’s Carey Grant, I figured that it must be good.
Well, at first I thought that perhaps I was wrong. The first several minutes it didn’t really seem to hold my attention. I knew what was going on, but I was intently watching. However, the entire movie was saved due to James Stewart as Macaulay Connor. Especially his drunken scene. I suppose I never really knew how funny he could be. I definitely would recommend it, and I’m glad I bought this one, instead of just renting it.
