Still working on developing a portfolio (the one I have now, with like eight pictures in it is currently being viewed by a potential client.) I wanted to include several of the same photo, but with a different style. I would like to print them with the title of the style printed on the bottom, but…I need titles. I have some generic titles, but I’d love to get some suggestions or ideas for names for them, even if you only have one, and not one for each image.

Okay here goes:
Original…pretty much a set in stone name for this one, but just so you all have a comparison. (pretty much SOOC. except a little cropping, and level adjusting).
Original

This one I call Acid. I feel it’s kinda grungy….any suggestions?
Acid

I call this one Antique grunge. Not sure I’ll stick with that, but it kinda feels old and grungy…but in a cool fresh way, lol…any ideas for a better name?
Antique Grunge

Next, one I simply call Antique..has kinda a handpainted, soft, glowy-skin look. Again, names?
Antique

Black and White…seems fairly simple, and I could go with that. My black and white tends to be quite contrasty, and not muddy or grayish. Should I stick with the simple title of Black and White?
Black and White

Brighten. That is what I call this one, and to be completely honest, I think that’s a horrible name. Perhaps something like “Color me up!” or something…seriously people, I need all the help I can get…..with the picture naming that is.
Brighten

*whew* okay folks, still several more to go, please bear with me.

Alright. This one I call contrast (clearly “Brighten” has a brother, “Contrast” is another icky, horrible name). Give me any and all ideas you have. I’m counting on you all now.
Contrast

This one is very subtle. It can be seen if you switch quickly between the original and this one. I call it dodge and burn…yeah, I’m on a roll, I know. Basically the image is sharper by burning the edges of things. Name…ideas…please.
Dodge and Burn

I call this one “Glowing Skin” because, well, the effect is that of a soft glow over the skin…but better name ideas are welcome, in fact, urged, and pleaded.
Glowing Skin

“Part Sepia.” This one has a sepia tint (that brownish/orangish color) but it’s not complete, there’s still hints of the original color peeking through. Part Sepia really needs a new name though…can you help?
Part Sepia

This one is similar to the previous one in that it is not completely colored, but it does not have that sepia tint. I’ve been calling this one Partially Colored *zzzzzzzz* oh, sorry…that name was so boring I actually dozed off for a second.
Partially Colored

This one is actually named after the film where the style originated: Velvia. It’s known for bright colors…highly saturated. However, I’m afraid the general public will be more inclined to think processed cheese (Velveeta) rather than Japanese film. Perhaps another name is needed?
Velvia

*taps screen* still there? good. We’re close to the end now…promise. Just a few more.

I call this one “Warm Black and White” because it is essentially like my Black and White, but it’s warmer….but not quite sepia. Another other name ideas…something cozy would be nice for this one.
Warm Black and White

“Washed.” Almost like a whitewashed fence, this has the color but it’s as though it’s been bleached. Any other name ideas? Perhaps “Bleached Blonde”? lol.
Washed

This one I call “Good Skin.” I really want to change that. This one is a to show the skin touch up (not my airbrushing). I’d like it to be obvious that it’s the skin being fixed but I don’t want the client to feel like I’m saying they previously had “bad skin.” Any ideas?
Good Skin

Alright, that’s it. If you made it this far, walk into the nearest kitchen and grab a cookie, brownie or M&M, you deserve it! If you leave a comment with name suggestions then grab three sweets.

I realize that a portfolio isn’t one picture over and over. I have a porfolio building with several different pictures of different people doing different things. However, I wanted to use the same image to showcase the effects that I can do, so that it is easier to distinguish what, exactly, is going on.
Thanks for the comment though, I laughed when I read it…though it took me a second to read since you had the text in the name and weblink fields.
