Well, I brought home our new cat Jasper on Saturday. And, up until today, Daisy and Jasper remained in separate rooms to allow Jasper to get used to being in a new place first. Today was the first day they’ve really gotten to know each other. Daisy acts as though she’s scared Jasper is gonna attack her, and Jasper acts like “why is this orange fluff so scared about me?”
Most of the day, they’ve spent taking turns avoiding each other, and curiously staring at each other, but neither venture to move too quickly or too close.
Toward the end of the day, Rick called me into the bedroom where Daisy and Jasper had both gotten on the bed, and were in a staring match about a foot apart.
They seem to have gotten past the poofy tale every time they see each other and are more into a stare the other down phase.
Current status: Jasper is under my desk, Daisy is too my right, staring each other down.

I always thought daisy was little. Not anymore
