church paneling A few days ago, Rick worked odd hours from 1:30pm to 10:30 pm. I went to meet him for dinner and while out he asked me if I wanted to go for a walk after he came home from work. “At 10:30?!?” I questioned. We took our cameras and stayed out until midnight. I thought I might share a few of the images that actually came our from the pitch blackness (’twas no moon). church window

We spent a lot of time laughing. As we were walking I tripped over a piece of uneven sidewalk (tripping happens to me often and Rick teases me about it twice as much). After I tripped, he turned to face me and make fun of me, and as the words were coming out he tripped…hmm, doesn’t seem as funny now…maybe you had to be there.Mayor's lamp post

Time flew by as we made our way around town. For as long as we spent, we really didn’t go very far. We spent quite a bit of time stoppingchristmas lights on fence to take pictures or commenting on the different signs that we saw. All in all, it was a very fun evening (well, except for the dove that tried to attack our heads and caused me to flip out and repeatedly say “oh my gosh, oh my gosh” nonstop for a few minutes.) Really, honey, we should to it again sometime (though if we really want to go on a photographing walk, it might be better during the day.)
