Mom: Cutting CheeseAlright, I realize that I’m a couple of days late. And, I’m sure those of you who are in these pictures breathed a sigh of relief when you went online and discovered that I didn’t post any of them. Well…here they are. Ricky

After sleeping in (Rick stayed up all night the night before in order to get into the habit for working nights this week), Rick and I made the trek to Indianapolis. Rick, mom and I went to Home Depot to see if there was anything that jumped out at us to use of gift cards on. We weren’t really ready to commit to anything at the time, so I spent the rest of the time there drooling over the gorgeous kitchen setups and the red washer and dryer.

Then Rick and I hung out with Mom at her house as she prepared a few things to bring over to Patsy’s (a la cheese in image 1). Mom Things pretty much progressed as they normally do. Rick was somewhere with Race playing some sort of video game. Samantha was mad at somebody…then perfectly bubbly the next minute. Everyone else was thinking about striking up a game of Euchre.

However, something did happen that was a bit out of the ordinary. Dad put on one of Samantha’s shirts. It’s one of those puffy shirts (or as Maryanne always called if, a cupcake shirt). It claimed to be one size fits all, but I think dad begs to differ.

RaceAnd apparently the pink-shirt-fad spread because I also caught Race trying it on. Though as soon as he saw me reach for my camera he yanked it off as fast as he could, but, I still got him….blurry, but I got him. And he hadn’t even tapped into the sparkling grape juice yet.

samantha, you goober, I know that her name is Chloe, never did I say that Chloe was Maryanne. I said that Maryanne always called those shirts cupcake shirts, which she did. Maryanne was a girl I went to school with.
