Today is Rick’s last day of his little 4 day vacation, and since I finished my midterm yesterday, it’s a fairly relaxing day for me. Rick also just recently purchased a new computer, and decided to transfer a part from his old computer to my computer, claiming it would aid in the graphics of my computer. I stayed in the room to watch the transfer and help hold back wires, blah blah blah. I also took several pictures; they may not be masterpieces, but I definitely thought they were fairly interesting.
And, afterward, I took Rick’s guitar upstairs for a few pictures. I really like how these two turned out. Rick’s comment upon seeing me editing the last one: “WHOA!!! That was pretty risky, don’t ya think?!?!”

Thankfully, my guitar lived to see another day; although, that it lives is in direct contradiction to the title of this post. To that I say, oh well.
However, I love the images of the graphics card. Definitely looks like a little city, of sorts, though I might be slightly biased by having played the game Rama, with its geometric cities and all. (Now that was an interesting game… Have to break it out and play it sometime…)

Well, if you are going to break out Rama, I hope you are better at hexadecimal than you used to be.
I have to say that I wouldn’t be too excited about my guitar being laid on a banister like that.
I like the guitar 1 shot

Believe me, I wasn’t excited about that shot! I didn’t even know about it till after the fact… There’s a perfectly good electric guitar in the closet she could have used, and I’d have been far less upset in the event of its destruction than in my acoustic’s.
And I had forgotten about having to know how to do math in Rama… Hmmm… My only improvement in that regard is knowing how to handle hex (and binary) in PHP. I still doubt I could figure it all out on my own without the use of a sophisticated adding machine…
I concede inferiority.

psh. Art takes risks…and electric guitars don’t have the neato factor that acoustic guitars have.

“I concede inferiority.”
Next time I see you I’ll give you a lesson. It isn’t so hard.

She has a point. At least as long as the guitar is undamaged!
